Unfortunately most of us have been affected by cancer in one way or another, whether it’s been on a personal level, a family member, or someone in our close circle. Recently that happened to a couple good friend of ours. When Beyrick found out about his dad’s diagnosis a couple weeks ago, he reached out to his mates and said that he wanted to take that overwhelming feeling of hopelessness he had, and channel it into bringing hope to a family that needed it most. He’d found out that his friends mom, Maria had been given a year to live, and being in a tough financial position, his friend Jared was going to have to leave his mom to go oversees to work in order to support her. Beyrick decided that he wanted to raise enough funds for the family to take care of all their financial burdens, so they could be together during this time, without any added stress, allowing them to cherish and take full advantage of the time they have left together. The goal is to help make cancer as comfortable as we can for Maria and her family. Please join us in showing support for our friend and his mom. She has been battling cancer for quite some time now, and they really need some help. You can check out the story in the link on our bio, on the Go Fund Me page. A HUGE THANK YOU, to all these legends, Parker Coffin, Matty McGillivray, Grant “Twiggy” Baker, Koa Smith, Shane Sykes, Billy Stairmand, and Jett Schilling (more to come!) for donating signed surfboards to auction off to help raise additional funds, to Leon Fitchat from Action Sports Express for hooking us up and getting the donated board from Santa Barbara to San Diego, and to to everyone else that’s had a hand in making this happen. Also, thank you to everyone that has already contributed and to those who will.
Your contribution will enable us to support our friends in need. We are very grateful for your generosity.
